Palletizer Rental in Atlanta & the Southeast
Atlanta is the Southeast's distribution crossroads — beverage and food plants, consumer-goods manufacturing and logistics operations serving the whole region. Wherever cases come off a line steadily, the stacking at the end is usually still manual. Dorna rents cobot palletizer cells for $1,999/month with $0 upfront, installation, training and maintenance included — and Georgia plants get the same in-person installation and start-up as our Arizona customers.
The Southeast's crossroads runs on cases — and hands
Metro Atlanta's plant base spans beverage production, food processing, building products, consumer goods and contract packing, with heavy distribution clusters around Forest Park, Union City, McDonough and the airport corridor. The region keeps adding capacity — and every new line adds an end-of-line stacking job that has to be staffed on every shift.
Stacking cases by hand is the position with the highest turnover on most floors: it is heavy, repetitive, and easy to leave for a lighter warehouse job down the road. A cobot palletizer takes the lifting over permanently — cases up to 20 kg (44 lb), stacked to your pattern — so the people you do hire can do work that keeps them.
What the $1,999/month rental includes
One flat monthly payment puts a complete, working palletizing cell on your floor — not a bare robot dropped at your dock:
- A collaborative robot (cobot) palletizing cell, configured and taught for your case sizes and pallet patterns on site.
- Delivery to your plant, plus installation, start-up and pattern setup — handled in person, not dropped at the dock.
- Operator training, so your team can run, clear and restart the cell with confidence.
- Maintenance included for the life of the rental — if it needs service, that is on us, not your maintenance budget.
- Safety guides or a cage fitted when your site's safety review calls for them, as options on the standard cell.
The rental runs on a simple 12-month term at one flat monthly rate — no capital budget request, no separate service contract. Prefer to own the cell eventually? Rent-to-own structures are available — ask and we will build the agreement that way. And because the robot is collaborative, it is designed to work safely alongside your operators, with no cage or fence required in the standard setup — one reason plants choose cobot palletizer rental over a conventional fenced palletizer.
How service works for Georgia plants
Dorna Automation Solutions is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, and Atlanta is one of the metros we serve across the USA. Atlanta's mix of plants and Southeast-wide distribution is a natural fit for the rental model. It starts with a virtual line walkthrough: you share your case dimensions and weights, line rate, photos of the end of your line and the floor space available, and we confirm the fit with your team on a call before anything is signed.
On your confirmation we prepare the cell and ship it — delivery to your site typically takes 3–4 weeks. Our founder attends on site for installation, start-up, operator training, and creating the recipes for your pallet patterns. Your team receives the delivery and provides a pallet jack or forklift to move the cell into place. After hand-over, maintenance stays included for the life of the rental, and you deal with the same team that installed the cell — not a ticket queue.
Atlanta palletizer rental FAQ
Do you actually install in Atlanta, or just ship equipment?
We install, in person. Dorna is based in Scottsdale, Arizona and serves Atlanta on the same model as our Arizona customers: the cell is delivered to your plant, set up, taught your pallet patterns, and your operators are trained during the same visit. Delivery to site typically takes 3–4 weeks from confirmation.
How much does cobot palletizer rental cost in Atlanta?
$1,999/month with $0 upfront. Installation, operator training and maintenance are included in that one rate — there is no separate service contract. The term is 12 months, and a rent-to-own structure is available if you prefer to own the cell at the end.
What cases can the cell handle?
Cases up to 20 kg (44 lb) each, with a robot reach of up to 1,880 mm to cover standard pallet patterns. Case sizes can vary between production runs — the cell stores a recipe per product and pallet pattern, and we teach those recipes during installation. Share your master case dimensions and we will confirm the fit before you commit.
What does our plant need to provide?
Very little: a 110 V power supply (15 A maximum), a compressed-air connection, and roughly 3,000 × 3,000 mm of floor space at the end of the line. Your team receives the delivery and provides a pallet jack or forklift to move the cell into place; we handle installation, start-up, training and pattern teaching from there.
Which Atlanta areas and industries do you serve?
Plants across College Park, Forest Park, Union City, McDonough, Conyers, Norcross and Marietta — and anywhere else in Georgia on the same model. The fit is any operation stacking uniform cases by hand: food and beverage, consumer goods, building products, packaging and contract packing. If your plant sits outside the metro, ask — we serve the whole USA.
